Brushing your teeth with this soft bristle bamboo toothbrush is one of the simplest ways to reduce fossil-fuel-based plastics in your home. Bamboo's low-carbon footprint helps mitigate the negative environmental impacts associated with climate change and plastic production.
It's a win-win: Your teeth will look dazzling and you are reducing waste and your carbon footprint.
Materials + Care
USDA certified 100% Biobased (castor bean) Bristles, FSC® Certified Bamboo Handles, and Compostable Packaging.
End of Life
Replace every 3-4 months.
Use a pliers to remove the bristles and staples from the toothbrush handle.
Handle: The bare toothbrush handle can be disposed of in a commercial composting bin and will safely return to the soil within 6 months. Or you can compost it in your own home, be sure to break it into small pieces first. The handle is a perfectly good piece of high quality bamboo so reuse it if you can! They make great plant markers for your garden.
Bristle: The USDA Certified 100% Biobased bristles are biobased but not biodegradable. Although these bristles will eventually return to the soil, they do not break down quick enough to be considered biodegradable. You can recycle them at your local recycling facility.
Aluminum Staples: Collect your staples in a metal container, like a soda can, with your other small recyclable parts, like razor blades. Once your container is full, secure the small metal pices in container so they do not fall out and recycle.
