Bentonite clay, a combination of montmorillonite and volcanic ash from the mountains of Wyoming, is a highly absorbent clay. Most commonly used in skin cleansing masks and tooth powders. The color can range from light gray to off-white.
Bentonite clay is not suitable for ingestion, this is a natural product from the earth that is known to contain lead.
Store in an airtight container and out of direct sunlight. Bentonite clay is shelf-stable for 4-5 years.
