Wage

$15.00/hour + 5% Weekend Pay Differential 

Hours

Priority will be given to applicants with availability Sunday-Thursday. 15-20 hr/wk. The Sales Associate can expect to work during shop hours, regular weekends and evenings and some occasional events.

Requirements

• Strong interpersonal skills and a positive, proactive attitude,
• Professional written and verbal communication skills,
• Basic computer literacy,
• Ability to work independently and with others,
• Ability to multi-task and practice efficient time management,
• Previous experience in retail and/or customer service industry preferred,
• Interest in circular economies and/or sustainability.

Responsibilities

• Arriving early to open the store, start preparations for the day,
• Leaving late to clean and close the store,
• Fulfilling online orders,
• Assisting with customer questions and processing sales,
• Ensuring that the store is clean, organized and fully stocked,
• Demonstrating knowledge of products to customers,
• Assisting with inventory management. 

Physical Demands

• Stand during an entire shift,
• Continuously walk around all areas of the store throughout shift,
• Lift, place, and arrange items on shelves and racks,
• Bend down and reach above head,
• Climb and descend ladder,
• Individually lift up to 49 pounds.
