Tampico fiber (agave) and oiled beechwood.
Lightly tap your brush against a surface after use and allow it to dry in an airy environment at room temperature, either hanging or otherwise freely exposed to the air. This allows the remaining water to drain off and prevents the wood from swelling, splitting and/or mildewing.
To help your brush last rub the wood with olive or sunflower oil occasionally.

Use a pliers to remove the bristles and staples from the wooden brush handle.
Collect staples in a secure metal container like a blade safe or can. When full, secure container so no items can fall out and recycle.
Toss brush handle and bristles in your Green Box or at home compost. For faster results, break wood into smaller pieces. -

Vegan
This brush works great for dishes. The bristles have lasted for multiple months so far! This has been longer than plastic brushes I have used in the past wear the bristles get smushed down quickly and then no longer work as well.
If my brush ever wears out I will definitely purchase this type again!
