At Sage Sustainable Electronics, we responsibly recycle and refurbish electronics & securely wipe customer data. With our friends at DANEnet and other non-profit organizations, we supply grant funded low/no cost laptops to community members in an effort to bridge the digital divide.

Sprig Native Plant Nursery is a woman-owned, Madison-based online nursery on a mission to help local gardeners replace turf lawns with thriving native habitats. Sprig empowers folks to build resilient landscapes that support local wildlife and strengthen our ecosystem - one square foot at a time.

VPK focuses on local, sustainable, and seasonal vegan cuisine. We try to support conscious eating by highlighting a full/circle system. We support ethical and environmentally conscious purveyors, as well as initiatives that are trying to reduce food waste. We also highlight sustainable foraging and eating within our seasons.

Our mission is to end plastic pollution everywhere. 

Beyond Plastics pairs the wisdom and experience of environmental policy experts with the energy and creativity of grassroots advocates to build a vibrant and effective movement to end plastic pollution.

Dane Buy Local is a nonprofit that supports locally owned businesses through education, connections, and advocacy. This is our mission because a local sustainable economy paired with our local partner's efforts in systemic sustainability is the greatest strength we have for the future.

We believe that widespread dependence on algorithm-driven social media is harming our wellbeing and eroding our ability to meaningfully connect with the world around us.

Our aim is simply to help people by reducing that dependency through intentional choice and solidarity.

The Edible Landscapes Committee started in April 2025 with a vision of creating and sustaining edible landscapes with and for communities across Dane County. We believe that through acts of collective nourishment, knowledge sharing, and reciprocity with our land and neighbors, we can foster a more resilient and sustainable local food system that better supports the essential needs of humans and wildlife.

We are sustainable landscape designers, gardeners, locavores, naturalists, and enthusiasts who want to see food forests all over Dane County and beyond.
