Have been using the unscented puck for a few months and really like it. So far it's been taking grease off any dish I cleaned with - and we cook a good amount. I especially like it for the ease of using just a little bit to wash just a few dishes.
A dishwashing puck is a sustainable swap we've stuck to for over 2 years. I buy this brand every 2-3 months and store it in a little bowl from a wheel throwing class. I wipe my bristle brush with a small amount of water over the puck 3-4 times and clean my dishes like normal. I use a couple other dish cleaning tools for greasy messes or when I want to make sure something is sterilized (dishwasher, liquid soap, soaking, steel wool pads, etc.) but I most often use my dishwashing puck and bristle brush.
I’ve been purchasing the Meliora Dishwashing Pucks for at least a year now, and I really love them. They suds up and clean well. I use different tools for cleaning different problems- bristle brush for most things, a copper or steel scour pad for the harder jobs, both with the soap. The only critique I’d have is that the “lemon” puck barely smells like lemon. I’m fine with this, as I usually get unscented things, but may be disappointing for others.
This dish soap does not get my dishes clean because it doesn't dissolve olive oil and other cooking oils. My dishes end up with a greasy film covering them. I have tried using a small amount, a larger amount, using a sponge or a brush. I have tried using no water, and a lot of water. I still have not had success and I can not use the product. We have a water softener, and the sink water tested at 30-50 ppm on a hardness scale, so I don't believe that water hardness is the issue. I requested an exchange or credit with the company, and they declined. I am not impressed with Meliora's response.
I does good until you get to greedy things. It has a hard time working and you have to wash multiple times
