A wood and cucumber sponge you say? That's right, this sturdy sponge is made of a durable loofah (a cousin of the cucumber) scrubber on one side and an absorbent wood pulp sponge on the other. Just like your traditional sponge, but compostable.
1 sponge per order.
Soak the sponge in water and wait a few minutes as it expands. Wring out and use as a you would a traditional kitchen sponge.
Care Tips:
Dry completely between uses
Boil in water to kill bacteria
avoid soaking in water
Place away from high heat or flames
Loofah, Wood Pulp
Toss Sponge in your Green Box or at home compost. For faster results, cut Sponge into smaller pieces.
Loofah can also be used like coconut fibre in the garden, excellent at water retention, growing seedlings, creating a potting mix, pest resistance, and use as bedding in worm bins
