These coffee filters are made of 100% organic cotton. Unlike paper filters, cotton leaves no flavor behind on the coffee. The cotton absorbs some of the oils from the coffee but will let the acid come through for a crisp and robust flavor. Filters should be replaced about once a year if used every day includes 2 filters.

Y'all, highly recommend snagging these filters! They're easy to use, easy to clean, and make brewing coffee incredibly simple. They do stick a bit to the filter, when trying to put the grounds in my compost, but I've found if you let it dry a bit that's easier and even when wet it's not hard.
