I think one of the highest comments that you can give an eco-friendly product is that you don't have to adjust your routine and this is one of those products! The floss can break down a little while flossing, but all you have to do to avoid strings stuck between your teeth is move along the floss as you go. Then pop it in your compost!
This feels better between my teeth than the charcoal floss I tried previously. I actually purchased this because I dropped and broke the glass container for that. As others have mentioned, this silk floss tends to break when you don’t want it to. I’ve now lost the end so it doesn’t come out of the dispenser easily. I’m almost better off just cutting it with scissors.
Loving this floss, much stronger than Oral-B Glide and the off bran dental floss I was using. I am able to use less floss with the silk, as it hasn't broke on me yet and even better it doesn't shred in my teeth as I use it!
Love the design and the fact you can buy refills. The issue with this floss is it constantly broke, even when we were careful, and we ended up getting floss out a few times to get through our whole mouth. I'm still debating whether or not I would buy again-it doesn't have chemicals and is compostable so maybe it is still worth it?
Sometimes the floss falls inside. The glass jar has a weird sticker. I'm often worried it will fall over and break or I'll knock it over and it will roll off the counter and break. Those might be unfounded fears though.
